He has written, devised and directed for the critically acclaimed comedy show SIDESHOW SOCIETY which performed across the country, at the Birmingham Comedy Festival and at the legendary Canal Cafe Theatre, London:

Laurence wrote the drama MAKING THINGS, about a female jobseeker from Roscommon, Ireland, who settled in Digbeth, Birmingham, in Victorian times. This was commissioned by Thinktank at Millenium Point for its opening season.
He has co-devised and co-written the participatory dramas IN A FIX and GRASSING UP with Birmingham based theatre companies Catalyst and Language Alive!
He has also co-devised shows with DR COMEDY that appeared at the Edinburgh Festival and the Leicester Comedy Festival.
Aside from FAT NINJA, Laurence is currently working on a drama that explores masculinity, violence and racial discrimination called 100 DEGREES and he is also part of the creative team behind IN THE MIX, a mockumentary pilot for television exploring the British hip hop scene, in which he also appears as the documentary filmmaker Peter Dalton.
